First Post
I've been meaning to start a Pirates Blog, and I figured there was no better time than Opening Day.
Before discussing today's game, I figured I'd let you readers get to know me a little bit. I'm a 19 year old kid from Pittsburgh, and a diehard Pittsburgh sports fan. I have seen both the Penguins and the Steelers win at least one championship each, yet, I have never witnessed a winning season for the Pittsburgh Pirates. I honestly have no clue what it's like for them to be good. By now, I'm used to all of the Pirates suck jokes. I've pretty much embraced it. So eventually, my sense of pessimism will show in my writing.
This blog is pretty much going to be my perspective on the Pirates, with a bunch of other crap.
